Before any installation takes place, we carry out a thorough assessment, including:
Electrical capacity — checking that your installation can safely handle the additional load.
Consumer unit — confirming there is a suitable spare way for the charger’s dedicated circuit, or advising if an additional consumer unit is required.
Earthing and bonding — checking that appropriate bonding is in place to incoming services such as gas and water.
Existing installation — identifying any issues that may need to be addressed before the charger can be installed safely.
Once these checks are complete, we’ll discuss the best location for your charger and plan the most suitable cable route, taking into account both appearance and practicality.

We’ll help you choose the right charger for your vehicle, property and requirements — rather than simply fitting a charger and leaving you to work it out.
Fully certified and compliant
Once your installation is complete, we’ll test the system thoroughly and provide a full Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
We’ll also take care of the required DNO (Distribution Network Operator) notification, ensuring your electricity network operator is informed of the new electrical demand at your property.
