What is bespoke led lighting?

Installing LED bespoke lighting involves a more tailored approach to illuminating your space to precision. The process begins with a site visit to understand the layout and objective of the lighting, including the functional needs of the room.

Based on the plan, several different types of lighting can be installed;

• LED strip

• Picture lights

• Recessed spot lights

• Ceiling/wall fixtures

Once being expertly installed by K-Electric, the final setup not only improves energy efficiency and longevity but also allows for more advanced control features like dimmer and colour tuning, offering a completely personalised finish.

LED STRIP LIGHTING

Due to its flexibility and low profile, LED strip lighting can be used to cast light in any area of the room. Often used for under shelves or kitchen cabinets as it creates a warm even glow when on, and then completely discreet when off.

It’s fully dimmable and can be colour tuned to your installation.

COLOUR TEMPERATURE

This is very important when designing the lighting for a room, and can completely change the mood and feel.

Here are some standard colours measured in Kelvin (k).

2700k - Extra Warm White - Similar shade to the older halogen style lamps, excellent for older style properties, creating a very cosy atmosphere.

3000k - Warm White - A go to shade for most domestic scenarios, a good mix of bright and warm creating the perfect shade that’s easy on the eye.

4000k - Cool White - This can create a very sleek modern look when used with that style of home or a modern office, it’s a mix of white and warm but in the wrong setting can look too cold.

6000k - Day Light - Ideal for task lighting. Suitable for garages or lofts for domestic purposes. Most used for warehouses, factories or hospitals where the clearest source of light is required.
